huimin's parting words

Dear Boran-ians,

i hope you enjoyed FOC. even though i was only there technically for a few hours, i can see that u guys really had fun with the trojan-ians and i heard dat there were sparks among some people over the past 4 days. unbelievable!

i'm sure some of you have heard from various people that i'm leaving nus and going to pursue Law at smu. i'm quite sad that i'm leaving behind so many good friends dat i've made along the way. Coming into business school wasn't my first choice but because of you guys, i've fallen in love with the school, the culture, the craziness and the many friendships that i've forged and will treasure for life. the fond memories of FOC (when we all cheered our hearts out and fought with zuzi like crazy during goldrush to win Best OG award!), RAG (sewing those red and white costumes continuously as if i'm a human sewing machine and the late night truth-or-dares), FLAG (when gonglei, tom, huiling, kaishi and i sat outside lucky plaza's 7-eleven and ate a miserable breakfast of factory-manufactured DA BAO and also made it across the empty 6/7-lane road from orchard mrt station to lucky plaza, carrying many tins of coins back to nus at the end of the day), DnD (we all wore black and gonglei won pageant), Bash (my maiden clubbing experience), the late nights in school mugging for statistics/ FNA mid-term, projects, acad booklet....

I realized that i've matured a lot over the past year and you guys have been the people who have contributed to who i am today. thanks for the great camaraderie, love, concern and the sweet things dat each of you have done for me. i treasure your friendship, and plz do not think that this is the end! although i'm going to a different school, i'll still be in singapore and dat makes it very possible for meet-ups, dinners, lunches, breakfast, supper (not somewhere smoky and hot should be fine)...

i hope you guys will still have fun in school for the next few years/ semesters and that boran will always stay the same. :)
